August 8th, 2025 — L.A. Gauge Shadow Day
On August 8th, TYE Shadow Day was also hosted by L.A. Gauge and charter member Bob Bawa.
Four students attended and expressed their sincere appreciation for the opportunity. They gained valuable insights into the field of engineering and were fascinated by the advanced precision machinery they observed.
On behalf of the TYE Shadow Day Team, we extend our heartfelt thanks to Bob Bawa and the entire L.A. Gauge team for warmly welcoming our students and providing such a meaningful and inspiring learning experience. It is worth noting that four of the students drove 60 miles to attend the Shadow Day hosted by LA Gauge.

August 7th, 2025 — CerraCap Ventures Shadow Day
On August 7th, CerraCap Ventures—led by our charter member Nikki Arora—hosted an incredible Shadow Day for our high school students. Nine students participated and shared how much they appreciated the experience, especially the valuable insights they gained into the world of finance.

July 22nd, 2025 — Avasant Shadow Day
We have another exciting update from our TYE Shadow Day program!
On behalf of the TYE Shadow Day team, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to our charter member @~Kevin S. Parikh for graciously hosting another successful shadow day at his company, Avasant, last week.
It was a truly enriching experience for the participating high school students. We’re pleased to share that eight students attended this special day and gained valuable insight into the professional world.

We are pleased to announce that today we successfully completed another shadow day organized by SetPoint Medical, led by our Charter member, Murthy Simhambhatla, via Zoom. 8 enthusiastic students participated in the session, engaging actively throughout.

Today, we proudly hosted 9 bright high school students from across Orange County as part of the TYE (TiE Young Entrepreneurs) summer program by our TiE Chapter.
Students got a hands-on look into the world of real estate and land development — from site planning to navigating the approval process with local government agencies, including securing Conditional Use Permits (CUPs).
It was a rewarding day full of learning, curiosity, and future potential. We’re excited to help inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs in Southern California!
I wanted to share a quick update about the recent Shadow Day event I hosted last Wednesday at our firm’s offices. We had the pleasure of welcoming 8 high school students from all around Orange County who were eager to learn more about the world of hedge fund management and investment management.
Throughout the day, the students had the opportunity to gain insights into our profession, understand the intricacies of investment strategies, and experience a day in the life of a hedge fund manager.
It was an enriching experience for both the students and me, as their curiosity and enthusiasm were truly inspiring. Thank you all for your continued support in our mission to foster entrepreneurship and financial literacy among young minds.
We are excited to share that yesterday’s Shadow Day at SmarterHome.ai, hosted by our charter member Ramin Heydari, was a great success! Ramin invited 8 high school students for an inspiring day where they learned about the company’s innovative work.
The energetic students showed curiosity and enthusiasm, asking great questions that led to engaging discussions about the company’s mission and technologies. Their eagerness to learn made the day memorable.
