As part of a global network, TiE Dana Point is committed to fostering and supporting entrepreneurship across Southern California. We bring together a dynamic ecosystem of entrepreneurs, industry veterans, Angel investors, VCs, and service providers to collaborate and grow together.
Our robust lineup of programs provides opportunities for learning, mentorship, networking, and inspiration. These initiatives serve as a hub where bold ideas, experienced guidance, and entrepreneurial energy combine to drive innovation.
TiE Dana Point is a proud member of TiE Global (The Indus Entrepreneurs), the world’s largest nonprofit organization dedicated to entrepreneurship, with over 12,000 members across 62 chapters worldwide.

Introducing an exciting new series from TiE South Coast-OC, “Inspire Series”, where we bring together the industry’s finest and most inspiring speakers to explore groundbreaking ideas, share transformative insights, and spark meaningful conversations.
MY STORY
“My Story” showcases inspiring journeys of our Charter Members as Entrepreneurs, CEOs, or CXOs—sharing key moments, leadership lessons, and personal insights from their paths to success.
SHADOW DAY
Offering high school students, a shadow day is a great way to introduce them to career opportunities in a particular industry. It offers practical experience and insight into typical duties and responsibilities.
LAUNCHPAD
To bring young entrepreneurs into our chapter while offering CMs meaningful mentorship opportunities. Our goal is to help them grow through guidance and networking, with the hope they become future Charter Members.
TYE ACADEMY
TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) is a global program focused on empowering high school students with entrepreneurial skills, leadership training, and real-world mentorship to help them become future innovators and business leaders.
PILLARS OF TiE
Since 1992. TiE has been supporting entrepreneurs by offering education, mentorship, networking and funding opportunities. The mission of TiE remains to foster entrepreneurship globally through funding, mentoring, networking and education.
Mentoring
TiE is known for mentoring education and networking to help entrepreneurs and those starting new businesses. Every day, someone is mentored with the TiE ecosystem and guided towards the right path to achieve great heights. Besides creating wealth the organisation also work to alleviate poverty and unemployment by fostering entrepreneurship worldwide.
Education
TiE signature programs include the TiE Young Entrepreneurship (TYE), which fosters entrepreneurship and education in high school level students, the TiE International Start-up Competition (TISC) which aims to nurture college-level students and young start-ups TiE Women’s Forum which empowers women entrepreneurs throughout our network and numerous large scale conferences such as TiECon and TiE Global Summit.
Networking
TiE conference attendees span the spectrum from successful founders of mature companies, entrepreneurs creating new companies, professionals from top corporations leading venture capital firms to thought leaders to senior executives and technology professionals
Incubation
TiE Chapters often assist start-ups by offering those incubators space or subsidized services by Sponsor and partners.
Investing
Several start-ups have received funding and investment from TiE Angel groups in the Network or from Angel Investors. TiE’s success stems from the cycle where chapter members assist younger entrepreneurs with mentoring Investments, networking etc and foster the success of younger start-ups in the community.
